Now I've actually got some poetry on me I can put some stuff on here. These are my favourites, but let me know what you think of them. I've never shown anyone them before so be nice! But don't lie.

Also, ignore the bullet points. The only way I could set them out in the right way was to use them, but they're meaningless. Honest!

Angel of Death

  • Dark hearted angel, flying through the night to reach your goal.
  • Black wings filling the sky with bright shadows.
  • Arms outstretched reaching for the elusive screaming prey you so deeply want and need.
  • The sickly sweet innocence of your smile was enough to entice him to the dark,
  • But the close up of your blood-red eyes prompted him to flee.
  • Now comes the chase,
  • Darting through alley and cloud.Running from the death he must face one day no matter what.
  • Laughing at his fear of life's only certainty.
  • And then the hunt is over in a gasp, a heartbeat, a smile.
  • Return to the forgotten stone, the only proof of your life,
  • To sleep until the next moon rises, until the dark comes back.

Hush

The muted whisper of a muttered prayer. The only sound the soft footfalls of the forgotton priest. Candle flames cast dancing shadows on the walls and wooden beams. The mind is fixed, like the single beam of light as it searched the sea in vain - so the mind searches for what it craves most. The knowledge that we are not alone in this world. Silence echoes in the absense of noise, and still he looks and kneeles. He knows not truly what it is he wants, only that when it is found, he'll know. Deep down it will ring true, and his life shall have meaning again.

Her last goodbye

Standing in that parking lot she softly kissed your cheek and smiled that smile of perpetual sadness. The rain was softly falling as she unclasped the chain from around her neck. She placed it in your hand. You managed to smile through the tears that ran down your cheeks, mixing with nature's own tears as they fell. It seemed there was no happiness in the world anymore. As she stepped away she clenched your fist, digging the chain into your flesh as if the pain would being her back. Her tinkling laugh pierced the night.

"Why do I have it?"

She turned to look at you one last time, giving you that final chance to memorise her face for your dreams.

"To remember me by."

As if you could forget!

You

  • You are the wind and gentle breeze,
  • You are the birds sat in the trees.
  • You are the loving breath of she
  • who sings her heart felt melody.
  • You are a movie lover's laugh,
  • You are the actor's champagne bath.
  • You are the magic in a witch,
  • You are the undesired itch.
  • You are snow-covered mountain peaks,
  • You are the hours, days and weeks.
  • You are the mighty ocean's soray,
  • You are the fun-filled Saturday.
  • You are the bave knight's final scream,
  • You are the tense, dramatic scene.
  • You are the Oscar's long red carpet,
  • You're all the unknown men who clean it.
  • You are Professor Tolkein's ring,
  • You're everyone and everything.
  • You are love's heart, and hatred's fist
